there's a she wolf on my t-shirt!

(Metropark pleather skirt; the Mountain t-shirt; Dolce Vita sandals; Naturalizer suede bag; necklace, bangles, and owl ring from Forever 21; sun ring from market in Florence; brace ring from Nordstrom; and braided bracelets from assorted markets in Europe)

I bought this wolf t-shirt during my trip to New York this week and I must say that I am obsessed with it. I've worn it almost everyday since I got it. I have an issue with collars so I cut the collar of this t-shirt out to show a little more skin. I'm kind of in love with the Mountain's t-shirts; I've got my eye on one with a dreamcatcher on it. I got the skirt about a year ago in Burlington and hadn't figured out to incorporate it into my wardrobe until recently. The suede bag was my Mom's (before I stole it) and I must say that it's probably my favorite bag that I own. I'm not sure if anyone else has looked at Free People's April catelogue, but it is probably my favorite to date. The way everything was put together was amazing! I really probably should have posted about it before this month turned to well! But anyway the way they wore jewlery in this catelogue has really inspired me to just pile it all on!

new york was great

I was in New York in Tuesday and Wednesday to visit NYU, one of my dream schools for college. The last time I was there, I was seven and deaf and blind to the unusual wonders of New York City. Also, I was with my grandma so... I journeyed to the city with my good friend, Rae, and my Dad and we spent the last two days walking around and sitting under blossoming trees. It was quite an experience; some first-hand encounters with same of NYC's craziest people, amazing street food, and probably the most unusual streetlife I've ever seen in my life; including a random guy walking around with a parrot on his shoulder and a guy with an afro made of tulle.

i feel good

(Cynthia Rowley top, Free People dress [worn as a skirt,] necklace from Forever 21, vintage lace table runner)

I am currently in New York and unable to access my laptop so I've left this post for you guys! I seriously wore this to school a few weeks ago and I like to think that it made my day better. I think part of it had to do with the fact that I grabbed the lace table runner upon heading out the door, thinking "Hmmm...I think I can do something with this." I recieved quite a few compliments for it, which made my day.

up from below

I don't think I've ever done a strictly candid collection...until this one of course. And on top of never having a candid shoot, I had also never shot with a lot of wind until this. Our Grammy's house, in Winthrop, is by the ocean and is always windy no matter what. Like all my shoots with Mikaela and Birgitta, this one was not planned, it was simply done on the spot. This was the first time I'd ever let them completely run around and do whatever they felt like doing. Even my Dad jumped into a couple of the shots.
